Located in the lobby of the Emily Morgan Hotel, Oro Restaurant and Bar is San Antonio’s premiere Mediterranean restaurant. With a revolving menu created by Chef Shane Bruns, Oro guarantees that you’ll never be bored. Happy Hour lasts from 5 until 7 and features drink specials and complimentary appetizers. Try an Oro Margarita, the best in San Antonio as voted by Conexion.

For affordable luxury dining, look no further than Oro. Chef Bruns’ creations are unique, delicious, and affordable. Compared to many other fine dining establishments the dinner entrée prices at Oro range from $19 to $35.  The breakfast and lunch menus are even less. Don’t forget about the 50 cent margarita specials available on Tuesday and Friday!

On the border of the historic La Villita district of San Antonio, the Guadalajara Grill offers authentic Mexican food. Their menu is geared towards a “gringo” palate; their food is “spicy, but not hot!” Everything served at the Guadalajara Grill is freshly prepared from scratch every day using genuine chilies and spices from Mexico. Guadalajara Grill uses only quality olive oil for sautéed recipes and canola oil for fried dishes.

The atmosphere at Guadalajara Grill is pure south of the border. Mexican movie posters cover the high walls of a dining room that spills out through tall doors into a street side patio. Remember, for authentic Mexican food at great prices check out the Guadalajara Grill. They even offer take-out orders, catering, and many other services.

Located in the historic Menger Hotel, the Menger Bar was designed to be a copy of the House of Lords Pub in London. In 1887 an architect was sent to examine the House of Lords. The paneled ceiling is made of cherry wood, the booths and beveled mirrors from France, and the decorated glass cabinets all mirror the classic style of the London pub. It was here that Teddy Roosevelt recruited many of his Rough Riders to fight alongside him in the Spanish-American war.

The Zinc Champagne and Wine Bar is located in the heart of downtown San Antonio and offers casual comfort and classic style with Southwestern overtones. Zinc serves wine from all over the globe and has over one hundred bottles on their wine menu. This bar also offers ports, desserts, cigars, and wine-friendly cuisine.
