David Crockett of Tennessee

James Bowie revealing his famous blade
I am Wade Dillon, a seventeen year old Alamo enthusiast and native Floridian. Ever since I was a toddler I've been compelled to the Alamo story and have been drawing up a storm ever since. The Alamo has been involved throughout my life in several ways with the renovation of my home and it's Alamo hump atop it and having been able to meet alot of incredible people who share the same passion for the Alamo as myself over the past couple of years. I created
Alamo Sentry, a messageboard dedicated to the Alamo and it's history. My artwork has been published in the December 2004 issue of
The Alamo Journal and the May 2005 issue of
The Crockett Chronicle. At the moment, I am submitting two illustrations for an Alamo book with a few projects planned in the near future. I'm proud of where I am within the Alamo field and being among such a great group of people.
