PC Game Features Alamo Battle

Some inaccuracies, but for the most part looks good

A new strategic computer game to be released in the USA next month will feature the Battle of the Alamo in what may be the most historically accurate rendition ever.

American Conquest: Divided Nation offers players an opportunity to experience history-making conflicts of the 19th century:

• Battles of the American Civil War
• Battles of the Texas Independence
• Battle of New Orleans

The game will feature authentic uniforms and troop types, a wide range of weapons, and battles based on real topographical data and historical sources. With a smaller number of nations in the game, a much wider variety of troop types and uniforms will be possible, resulting in impressive and historically engaging missions. In Divided Nation, players take on multiple roles including Civil War General, pirate commander and militia leader in the Texas War of Independence.
