The Alamo Defenders: Daniel Bourne

BOURNE, DANIEL
(1810-1836)

Born in England, Daniel Bourne and his brothers immigrated to America.  On his own, Bourne moved to Gonzales, Texas where he became a member of two artillery companies:  one lead by Capt. T.F.L. Parrott, and the other lead by Capt. William R. Carey. 

He died at The Alamo on March 6, 1836.
